Slime Care
Every order comes with a slime activator spray and a care sheet. Here is what the care sheet says, plus how to use the activator.
Sticky slime?
No problem! Use the slime activator included in your package. Add one spray at a time, mixing thoroughly between each spray until the slime is no longer sticky.
Slime can get sticky during shipping or in warm rooms. This is normal.
Stiff or cold slime?
Don't use the spray. Play with it for a few minutes and the warmth of your hands will soften it and help stop it ripping. Using spray on cold slime can make it too hard so it tears easily.
Slime also softens naturally over time. To speed that up, add a small amount of glycerin or warm water, then massage the slime until it reaches the texture you like.
Quick slime tips
- Wash your hands before and after playing with slime. Avoid hand sanitizer while handling slime, as it can make the slime sticky.
- Test your slime inside the container first. If it's sticky, add activator and mix it inside the container before taking it out to play.
- Make sure the lid is closed securely to keep the texture.
- Play with your slime only on clean, flat surfaces. Avoid wooden or textured surfaces, which can stick to the slime.
- Keep your slime somewhere cool and away from direct sunlight. Storing it in the fridge can help stop it melting.
Using the activator spray
- Start with just one spray.
- Mix it in really well.
- Still sticky? Add one more spray and mix again.
