What is clear slime?
Clear slime is a glassy, see-through slime that stretches slowly into long, shiny pulls. Ours ranges from completely plain, like Crystal Clear, to clear bases that hold something extra: frogspawn and fishbowl beads in Crystal Coast, rainbow pearls in Rainbow Beadz, fruit charms in Fruitylicious, and shimmering metallic colour in Golden Glimmer and Lavender Glow.
Because the base is clear, you can see everything inside it, and pressing or folding it pushes air bubbles through the slime. Beaded clear slimes add a soft clicking feel as the beads roll past each other.
Is clear slime good for beginners?
Clear slime is the one we rate as our expert texture. It's the stickiest to get started with, especially in a warm room or straight after shipping. If it feels sticky, add one spray of the activator that comes with every slime, mix it in well inside the jar, and repeat only if you need to. Play on a clean, flat surface so dust and fluff don't end up inside the slime.
If you'd like something easier to begin with, try a cloud creme or butter slime first, then come back to clear once you're used to handling slime.
Sizes and scents
Most clear slimes come in 2oz, 4oz and 8oz jars. Crystal Clear, Golden Glimmer, Rainbow Beadz and Crystal Coast are unscented, while Sea Breeze, Lavender Glow, Bubblegum Blast and Fruitylicious are scented. Every jar is handmade in Canada and ships with a slime activator spray and a care sheet.
